Now let's be honest, as photographers we all have had the yearning to photograph fireworks and capture those gorgeous, colorful, time-frozen shots - a challenging alternate form of night photography.

But along with fireworks comes a crowd of spectators pushing, pulling, tugging and nudging us let alone distracting the view with their cell phones on record. If its going to be a challenge for us to stand still in the crowds then definitely the crowds would never tolerate a tripod!
But there are a few successful strategies involved in getting the right shot:
1. Reach early, before the crowds,
2. Look out for that unique secluded spot and secure it first,
3. Select the correct lens, ISO 100, f/11,
4. Estimate where the fireworks would be in your frame,
5. Setup your camera, tripod, remote trigger and enjoy the shoot.
